Sean DeSilva, General Manager

Sean was hired by Coppinwood in September of 2004 and was the first employee to work on the property. Since that date, Sean has played an instrumental role in overseeing all construction, grow in, opening, and the continued success of Coppinwood. Sean has been in the golf course industry for 20 years and has worked at and helped develop some of Canada’s finest golf courses such as Beacon Hall, The Diamond “in the Ruff” and Taboo. Sean is very involved in the golf course industry and was the Chairman of the 2006 Ontario Golf Course Management Conference and Trade Show and is a Past President of the Ontario Golf Course Superintendents’ Association.

Scott Pratt, Golf Course Superintendent

Scott is a graduate of Penn State University and has 15 years experience working at some of the finest golf clubs in North America. Scott was previously employed as the Assistant Superintendent at Coppinwood and was involved since the beginning of construction in 2005. Prior to his tenure at Coppinwood, Scott was the Assistant Superintendent at TPC at Sawgrass, and Reflection Bay. He was involved in the preparation for major tournaments such as The Players Championship and Wendy’s Three Tour Challenge.
